Together Again

This is the Johnathan Browning Gun Shop and home. He and his family moved to Nauvoo after joining the church. He is famous for inventing the Browning repeating rifle. However, his story is more than that. He and his wife had a baby girl that died here in Nauvoo. She was buried on their property behind their home. 

As you stand near their daughter's grave you can gaze at the Nauvoo Temple in the distance. The Brownings would have had the same view. Because of Temples, families can be joined together beyond this life. The Brownings would have been able to feel the peace and joy of knowing that they would be with that child again after this life. Bryce and I have also felt this peace. We often thing of our fathers who have passed away and we know that we will be with them again. Families really can be together forever.
