Elder Walton and I were assigned to serve in the Visitor's Center two weeks ago. We met a man there who had been searching for more truth about Jesus Christ and why we're here on earth. He wanted to know more about the Mormons and our beliefs and was motivated to come here to Nauvoo from Iowa. He has now had a few discussions with the missionaries and is going to get baptized later this month. He's very excited!
Getting answers to prayers was a large part of this man's journey. I found an easy to understand explanation to how prayers are answered in the following clips on youtube. The only way I could figure out how to share them was to copy and paste the url. They are by Elder Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Three minutes each.
